Straight from SDCC the first shots of the Movie Master Ghostbusters figures of Peter Venkman, Winston Zeddemore and most surprisingly but very very welcome Walter Peck! Pictures from ToyNews International.

I honestly want these more than anything else in life. Hopefully someone at Mattel will see this and hook me up with some to review.

New Daft Punk?!?

According to reports some of Daft Punk’s Tron Legacy soundtrack was played with the new trailer shown at the San Diego Comic Con. Once a video of that is available I shall add it to this post. This video however is from a Secret Booth in which a real life redesigned Light Cycle is shown at the end. The music is said to be some of Daft Punk’s work for the soundtrack. It is pretty awesome either way.

Also at Comic Con Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski, said that the boys may even tour behind the new soundtrack material.

As if I couldn’t be more excited about this flick they sure did do it.

UPDATE: And I am more excited.

The first look at the live action G.I. Joe movie is now online at Coming Soon. I don’t know what to think of it yet. Doesn’t feel very “G.I. Joe-y” to me.  What you guys think?

Shamwow guyVince, the dude from the Shamwow and Slapchop commercials didn’t start off trying to pawn off worthless kitchen gadgets, he started his “career” as a writer/director/producer/star of the Underground Comedy Movie. At the start of this remarkable project he was a fairly new convert to the Church of Scientology. He used his connections within the “Celebrity Center International” which I guess is like some kind of cool kid club of B-movie stars who do cameos for other Scientologists. Vince was able to secure grade-A talent like Joey Buttafucco, Slash from Guns n Roses, Ant, and last but certainly not least, Michael Clarke Duncan- most famously known for his role as “big black guy with a heart of gold” in nearly a dozen movies.

Vince made his movie, and the Church of Scientology was so embarrassed by how terrible it was that they pretty much railroaded Vince out of the church with their standard fair game threats, coercion, and turning all of his former Scientologist friends against him. Vince claims the church stole the raw footage, clipped something together that somehow managed to be even worse then the original, added some sassy narration, and passed it around the Scientology community as an elaborate smear campaign against him. Vince eventually was found guilty on 23 various charges in Scientology court (not joking) which put his movie in jeopardy because it was created entirely using Scientologist connections from casting, to financing, and everything in between.

Somewhere in between the Underground Comedy Movie, getting kicked out of the Church of Scientology, and being completely ruined Vince discovered he’s really good at hocking bullshit at flea markets. He eventually became successful enough to form a sales team for his flea market gimmicks, and make enough money to finish his movie, then release it on cable and DVD. But now that Vince is a successful TV “star” (if you’d even call him that) his new mission in life is fighting the Church of Scientology. He originally filed suit against the church in 2004, and has been spending most of his fortune made with the Shamwow and Slapchop suing them ever since.

This is Vince’s magnum opus in comedy. The Underground Comedy Movie. It’s a series of skits which range from mildly amusing to remarkably fucking terrible. There’s even a musical number. Oh, also somewhere along the way with making this movie Vince also sued the creators of There’s Something About Mary claiming they ripped off his movie to make theirs. This absolutely horrible movie has so much fucking drama attached to it that it’s worth watching just to see what all the fuss was about.

Check out the trailer here.
